Remember that I got to be a concert photographer for one day? Well, that wasn't the only thing that happened that evening!

About halfway through the set of Equal Idiots, headliner of the day, their manager came up to me. Apparently he changed his mind about the photography rules. No more pics for the rest of the show. It sucked for me, but later turned out to be a good thing!
I had put my camera down and was still enjoying the concert with my friends up front. Suddenly Thibault, the singer, asked the crowd if anyone could play the guitar. At first I didn't react, but my friends know I've been playing the guitar for a few years. I wasn't surprised when they all started pointing at me untill Thibault noticed!
Before I knew it he asked me to join him on stage! There I was, in front of a sold out show with a guitar thrown in my hands!

Thibault showed me what to play and then jumped off stage. I was left alone on the main stage with the drummer. Never having played with one before, I had to pay attention to the pace to keep up! It was an amazing experience. A major item on my bucket list that I can now cross off!
The whole thing took about 3 mintes. You can check out a video of what happened below. It still brings me the biggest smile whenever I see it. :) All pictures of me on stage were taken by the talented Geert Van De velde. Thank you Geert!
